Gastroenterology
Michael Seip, D.O., Diplomate American Board of Physician Specialties
Dr. Seip is a graduate of The Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Kirksville Osteopathic Hospital and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Chicago Osteopathic Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Seip has been in private practice since 1984. A published author he is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, Phoenix Gastrointestinal Society, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He was named as one of Phoenix’s Magazine Top Doctors in the East Valley in 2007.
Richard Jonas, M.D., Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine,
Subspecialty of Gastroenterology
Dr. Jonas attended Medical School at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in Chicago. He completed his residency In Internal Medicine at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. He completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in association with the University of Chicago in Illinois.
He has been in practice since 1986. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Phoenix GI Society.
He is married with two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, golf, exercise and gardening.
David Tessler, D.O.
A graduate of the University of Michigan and Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Tessler completed his residency at Bostford General Hospital in Michigan. He completed both a research fellowship in Gastrointestinal Oncology and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan.
He has been in practice since 2005 and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American Osteopathic Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. He is a published author and is Board Certified.
A native of West Bloomfield, Michigan, Dr. Tessler is married and has two children. He enjoys basketball and bicycle riding.
Farrah Black, M.S., P.A.-C.
Ms. Black received her undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She went on to obtain a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a division of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Mesa, AZ. She is board certified by the NCCPA and has been in practice since 2003.
Ms. Black is a member of the Phoenix CI Society, American College of Gastroenterology, American Academy of Physicians Assistants and the Gatsroenterology/Hepatology Society of Advanced Practitioners.
She has a special interest in treatment of hepatitis, including Hepatitis C and manages a large patient population affected by this disease.
In her free time she enjoys running, going to gym and reading.
Internal Medicine
Jack Butler, D.O., F.A.C.OJ., Diplomate American College of Osteopathic Internists
Dr. Butler received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma University, and went on to the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Tulsa, OK, where he obtained his doctor of osteopathy degree. He completed his internship at Phoenix General Hospital and his residency in Internal Medicine at the Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Butler has been in practice for over 20 years and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Internists and the Arizona Osteopathic Association. He is board certified and provides both preventive care and management of chronic diseases to adults.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters and reading.

Pulmonary Medicine
William Dishner, D.O.
Dr. Dishner graduated form the College of Osteopathic Medicine in Forth Worth, TX. He completed his residency in General Medicine at Phoenix General Hospital in Arizona, and his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is board certified, has been in practice over 25 years and is a member of the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Thoracic Society.
A native of Dallas, Texas he enjoys spending time with his wife and six children.
George Parides, D.O.
Dr. Parides attended the School of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He completed his residency at Phoenix General Hospital in Phoenix, AZ and his fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Parides is an Associate Professor at Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and participates in training pulmonary residents.
He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians and the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association. Dr. Parides has been named five times as one of Phoenix’s Magazine Top Doctors in the East Valley.
He is married with three sons. In his spare time he enjoys running and gardening.
Lorie Loreman, D.O., F.C.C.P.
Dr. Loreman graduated Summa cum Laude at Chestnut Hill College and went on to obtain her doctor of osteopathy degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania and her fellowship at Tuft’s University School of Medicine — St Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston Massachusetts.
Dr. Loreman has been in practice for over 15 years and is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Thoracic Society. She often lectures in public and has special interests in lung cancer, venous thromboembolism and sepsis.
In 1996 she was named in Who’s Who in American Medicine and Health and in 2001 was named one of Consumer Reports top physicians in the United States. She enjoys spending time with her children, photography, cycling and traveling.
